Protocol & Usage

1. Dry cleaning

Sweep the area clean: remove all unattached coarse dirt and plants residues.

2. Wet cleaning

High pressure washing or integrated misting systems to pre-soak all clinging dirt.

3. Detergent soaking

Use a 2 % (1-3%) Intra Foam Cleaner concentration, preferably at min. 150 bar, with a foam lance as a thin coating on the surfaces and let is settle. Minimum contact time is 20 minutes, maximum contact time is 1 hour.

4. Wash off

High pressure washing to remove the dissolved dirt. Pay special attention to the pits and other exit points of the water to prevent puddle forming.

5. Drying

Allow the surfaces to dry.

6. Disinfection

Start disinfection with Multi-Des Ga.

When should I Use Intra Foam Cleaner?

Thorough cleaning of surfaces is the most important step before disinfection. In this step, highly adhesive organic pollution is removed from the surfaces and the bacterial load is significantly reduced. This is important to ensure optimal contact time and efficacy for the disinfectant: Intra Multi-des GA. Cleaning and disinfection done as separate steps is the only way to assure your animals will have the best environment to perform.

What concentration should I use?

The advised concentration is 2% (1-3%) Intra Foam Cleaner. With this concentration the foam will be of optimal quality.

What is the function of the foam?

With foaming products, it is important to have the optimal balance between wet foam (much liquid between the bubbles) and dry foam (almost no liquid between the bubbles). If the foam is too wet, it will run off the walls very quickly and the contact time is too short. When the foam is too dry, it will not have enough water to transport the active ingredients to break down the pollution and therefore contact time is insufficient. Intra Foam Cleaner contains an optimal concentration and combination of surfactants for perfect foam stability and wetting properties (Deep Clean Technology). The maximum contact time gives the product a longer working time to dissolve the stubborn dirt. Additionally, a foam adheres better to vertical surfaces which makes it ideal to clean for example the walls of the farm.

When used it its recommended concentration Intra Foam Cleaner is not corrosive. Always remember to wash off the product after maximum 1 hour.

What is the effect on different material types?

Intra Foam Cleaner has no corrosive effect on materials as long as the recommended dosage and contact time are guaranteed. If these are exceeded, pay special attention to aluminium surfaces.
